RULES & REGULATIONS ABOUT TOURNAMENT FIGHTS
- All tournaments could be done under:
Full MuayThai rules ( no elbows with exception for final fight );
Shootboxing rules ( no elbows with exception for final fight );
International muaythai rules ( no elbows, active clinch maximum 10'' );
Japanese ( K-1 ) rules ( no elbows, active clinch with maximum one knee );
Oriental kick rules ( no elbows, no clinch );
- Official recognised World Grand Prix tournaments could be:
with 4 man / female;
with 8 man / female;
- To be officialy sanctioned for WIPU KOTR super title tournament should have world level fighters consisting of:
Obligatory champion if he exist in particular weight divission and discipline;
In 4 man tournament obligatory minimum 2 top level fighters from the rankings of which minimum one should be among first 10 in the world;
In 8 man tournament obligatory minimum 4 top level fighters from the rankings of which minimum two should be among first 10 in the world.
- All fights are 3x3';
- All qualification fights could have maximum 1x3' extention in case of draw;
- All final fights could have maximum 2x3' extention in case of draw;
- All tournaments should have minimum one reserve fight in 3x3' without extra extention round;
- If the winner of the fight is injured, then the fighter who won first reserve fight get his place in the tournament;
- The winner of reserve fight can enter in the 1 / 2 final fight of the tournament only if the looser of that fight is injured;
- Winner of reserve fight can enter into any stage of tournament also if the fighter who won the fight has sufered serious punishments ( including KD ) and supervisor decide that he is not ready to give a decent fight in next round and could risk his healt;
