Great night of combat sports that staged in Rome, where was held KOTR Knockout Fighting Championship 2009. organized by Europe Vale Tudo Organization.
The highlight of the evening was fight between italian fighter Davide FERRETTI (Ruas Vale Tudo-Mixed Martial Arts) and dutch fighter Abbas Danial SHARIFI for the Super international title and the prestigious belt King of the Ring under Shootboxing-Mixed Martial Arts rules.
Davide Ferretti was very concentrated and determined, demonstrating his mastery on the ring. The both fighters demonstrated beautiful and dynamic technical and tactical boxing actions, legs techniques and wrestling.
In the second round Davide Ferretti, after forcing his opponent in the corner, used the occasion to attack the dutch fighter leg taking it to the ground and closing rapidly effective location to toggle arm. Nothing could Sharifi do to defend his arm. It had to give up to the perfect execution of the Ferretti's martial art and allowing in this way David to win the prestigious title and the belt King of the Ring.
