HOW MASTERS WGP SYSTEM IS WORKING ?

• Masters 4 man final WGP is reserved only for WIPU KOTR super champions under one defined discipline and weight category;
• Masters 8 man single fight semi finals are reserved only for KOTR super titles from
  different disciplines and weight categories and can be fought under any agreed discipline & weight;
• In order to win KOTR super title, promoters around the world can organise single fights or 4 man WGP for WIPU KOTR super titles using the rules, weight, budget and fighters or actual champions of their own choice;
• Each promoter can do minimum one up to tree 4 man WGP tournaments in different weight categories and disciplines on any show except semi finals;
• There could be also special agreement with promoter to sanction any other title fight or super fight or tournament as qualifications for WIPU KOTR super title and according to that for Masters WGP championships.

WHAT ARE THE RULES ?

WIPU is the only organisation in the world who can offer super world titles KING OF THE RING under following rules (in a single fights or thru 4 or 8 man tournaments):

A) stand up

• under shootboxing (stand up vale tudo) rules
• under full muaythai (with elbows) rules
• under international muaythai (no elbows) rules
• under K-1 (modified international muaythai) rules
• under oriental kick (modified K-1 with no knees and clinch) rules

B) MMA

• under octagon cage (3x5') rules
• under Pride (10' + 2x5') rules
• under free fight (3x5') rules
• under mixed (5'+3'+5') rules

WIPU PLANS FOR 2010

MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS IN FOLLOWING WEIGHT CATEGORIES:

• 60 till 63 kg (with final WGP at 63 kg under rules to be defined)
• 65 till 70 kg (with final WGP at 70 kg under rules to be defined)
• 70 till 72.5 kg (with final WGP at 72.5 kg under rules to be defined)
• 75 till 80 kg (with final WGP at 80 kg under rules to be defined)
• 85 till 95 kg (with final WGP at 95 kg under rules to be defined)
• 95 till 105 kg (with final WGP at 105 kg under rules to be defined)
• 70 till 77 kg MMA (with final WGP at 77 kg under rules to be defined)
• 84 till 93 kg MMA (with final WGP at 93 kg under rules to be defined)
• 93 till 103 kg MMA (with final WGP at 103 kg under rules to be defined)

ARE YOU INTEREST TO JOIN INDEPENDENT PROMOTERS UNION AND PROMOTE THIS PROJECT TOGETHER WITH US ?

• Any promoter around the world who can assure certain budget in order to have some top worldwide fighters and high level TV and show production can promote it!
• All what you have to do is to put the logo of WIPU KOTR on your promotional materials, to pay agreed sanction fee (fixed fee or % from the agreed fight money budget), to assure professional tape of the show for WIPU KOTR archive, to assure one or two spots on the ring for WIPU KOTR sponsors (to be defined – maybe gloves ....), to have obligatory WIPU KOTR supervisor and minimum two official from our top team of officials around the world, to choose what WIPU KOTR title fight or fights you want to do, including WIPU KOTR titles outside of Masters or just qualification tournaments / what weight and rules you are most interest in doing it (single fight or 4 man tournament), choose fighters from our rankings which are most interesting for you with WIPU KOTR full assistance, propose budget which is acceptable for you, use the name of the show which is interesting for you, make all other fights as you like under the rules you like and sanctioned or co-sanctioned for any other sanctioning body of your choice if you want (or need !);
• Such independent promoters union gives to it's members many other benifits such as: exchange of the fighters among promoters inside WIPU, TV rights, joint ventures and also negotiations with big super stars thru WIPU KOTR for a series of super or title fights around the world for more acceptable fight money then it is a case when each promoter negotiate separate fight money.

ARE YOU INTEREST TO PARTITIPATE AS A FIGHTER ?

• Any fighter who is ranked among best 20 in the world can fight for KOTR SUPER TITLE OR MASTERS ULTIMATE WORLD TITLE !
• You are not yet among best 20 in the world – no problem ! Your promoter can include you into 4 or 8 man qualification GP or 4 man WGP in which will be included also fighters from KOTR rankings (in an 8 man tournament, minimum 4 among first 15 and in 4 man tournament minimum 2 among first 10 in the world).

YOU WANT TO PROMOTE SEMI FINAL FIGHTS ?

• From August till November 2010 each promoter who is financialy and technicaly strong to put big show is free to negotiate for some of the proposed semi final MASTER fights;
• Semi finals consist of 8 super champions fighting in a single fight (4 fights) for or defending his KOTR super title in order to get one position in big final 4 man MASTERS WORLD GRAND PRIX where they will fight for big money award and super prestige belt & title (together with K-1 the most prestigeous title !);
• Such show can consist also of mixed fights for MASTERS WGP (example: one or two or more fights mixing weights and rules till 63 / 70 / 72.5 / 80 / 95 / 105 kg + MMA till 77 / 93 / 103 kg) with any combination which could be atractive and financialy acceptable for promoter;
• Also very important, beside top worldwide fighters comming from worldwide qualifications and KOTR super title fights, promoter, depending on his interest and budget could have also some of the world famous fighters comming from K-1, K-1 Max, muaythai and MMA who will fight for or defend their KOTR super titles and be directly nominated and wait in the semi finals.

YOU WANT TO PROMOTE BIG FINAL 4 MAN MASTERS WORLD GRAND PRIX ?

• From November 2010 till february 2011 each promoter who is financialy and technicaly strong to put super big show is free to negotiate for one or more proposed final MASTERS WORLD GRAND PRIX (WIPU is already under negotiations with some top promoters around the world but it is open to anybody until the contracts will be signed);
• Final show could consist of one, two or ideal tree 4 man MASTERS WORLD GRAND PRIX tournament/s with weight categories of promoter choice. In regards of semi final fights where the fighters can fight under different rules, in the finals there will be only one defined rule with special belt made for Masters ultimate champion where no KOTR champions will defend their own titles;

POSSIBLE SPECIAL PROGRAMS AS A PART OF WIPU KOTR ACTIVITIES

Ring girls beauty contest:

• Every promoter can do his local beauty contest in order to elect the most beatiful ring girl of his show and propose her for final beauty continental contest MISS OF THE RING (with 12 girls) and after that to world beauty contest RING GIRL QUEEN OF THE WORLD with 12-16 girls;
• Each of those two final beauty contest could be part of semi final & final shows for Masters WGP.

Combat sports Oscar:

• At the end of each year, WIPU in association with worldwide promoters and specialised media elect and award with GOLDEN BELT KING OF THE RING the best fighters and promoters in various disciplines as well as persons & media who made great work in promoting our sport.

POSSIBLE SHOWS WHICH COULD BE INTERESTING FOR YOUR COUNTRY & PROMOTERS

From January till October 2010

Qualifications and KING OF THE RING super world titles (thru single fights or 4 man WGP tournaments) under any of available fight rules (full muaythai thai / International muaythai / K-1 / shootboxing / oriental kick) and proposed weight divissions (63, 70, 72.5, 80, 95, 105 kg for stand up and 77, 93 & 103 kg for MMA) as qualifications for KINGS OF THE RING MASTERS WORLD GRAND PRIX semi final (only single) fights.
There are many fighters which could be interesting till 60 kg, 63 kg, 67 kg, 70 kg, 72.5 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 85 kg, 90 kg, 95 kg, 105 kg and under MMA till 77, 84 kg, 93 kg and 103 kg.
The winner will fight in semi final and defend his title or attack another title in order to enter into final MASTERS 4 man WORLD GRAND PRIX tournament;

From October till December 2010

KING OF THE RING MASTERS 1 / 2 final fights (only single fights) under any of available fight rules and disciplines in oder to enter into 4 man MASTERS WORLD GRAND PRIX final tournament till 63 kg, 70 kg, 72.5 kg, 80 kg, 95 kg and 105 kg or in MMA till 77 kg, 93 kg & 103 kg. Promoter could choose which weights are interesting for him and can also mix the fights. ONLY KING OF THE RING SUPER CHAMPIONS CAN FIGHT IN SEMI FINAL FIGHTS ! The winner will fight in big final MASTERS 4 man WORLD GRAND PRIX tournament !!

From November 2010 till February 2011

KING OF THE RING 4 man MASTERS WORLD GRAND PRIX tournament under defined rules till 63 kg, 70 kg, 72.5 kg, 80 kg, 95 kg, 105 kg and in MMA till 77 kg, 93 kg and 103 kg with big fight money and specialy made belt for the winner.

All those 4 man tournaments could be part of separate shows or could be up to three 4 man tournaments inside one show which we have already did and we had excellent results !
