Following more famous annual awards in movie or music bussines as well as traditional annual awards which serious boxing organisations have at the end of each year ( WBC, WBA, WBO, IBF, EBU ... ) there was demand to establish something similar in oriental pro boxing and MMA. World indenpendent promoters union, as the only real indenpendent world body with unique computerised world rankings and super titles KINGS OF THE RING together with it's partners and worldwide promoters has decided to launch super prestige annual award GOLDEN BELT - KING OF THE RING !

Intention is to award after each calender year the best in complete boxing family which means pro boxing as well.

Among 4 nominies in each category, readers thru this web and some specialised online magazines as well as experts around the world will have opportunity to elect the best representatives in each category by simple voting thru online magazines as well as this web page.

The awards which will be given to the best for actual calender year will be:
THE BEST FIGHTER OF THE YEAR
THE BEST PROMOTER OF THE YEAR
THE BEST FIGHT OF THE YEAR
THE BEST & MOST ATRACTIVE KO OF THE YEAR

Also, some special awards will be given for:
